Assistant Professor Benjamin Yen Delivers a Lecture on Drone Auditory Technology at an International Workshop
Benjamin Yen, Assistant Professor, delivered a talk at the 6th Future Computing Workshop (WFC), held at National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan.
The workshop focused on “AI Robotics,” with particular emphasis on integrated AI robotic systems and their applications in the medical and healthcare domains. Invited speakers from leading international institutions, including the University of California, Berkeley, Tokyo University of Science, and Waseda University, gathered to engage in discussions on robotics, AI, and interdisciplinary innovation, alongside poster presentations.
In his talk, Dr. Yen presented recent research on auditory perception, active exploration, and audio-based sensing for drones in search and rescue scenarios. He also discussed the broader potential of these technologies for applications in healthcare robotics.
